Our goal is to help each swimmer develop the skills and confidence they need to become strong, independent swimmers. Here’s what you can expect as your student progresses through our program:

Each level in our swim program is designed to build upon the previous one. Every level includes five core skills. These skills are further broken down into sub-skills, allowing students to gradually develop and perfect each technique. We get so excited when they complete a sub-skill because they are progressing towards mastering the main skill!

On average, students take 3 to 5 months to move through each level when they attend class once a week. However, if your student attends classes twice a week, they typically progress faster. This is because more frequent practice helps reinforce techniques and ensures that the student retains the skills they are learning.

Before moving on to the next level, we focus on mastering all five skills within the current level. Mastery is essential, as it ensures your child is fully comfortable with the basics before taking on more advanced skills.

Once your swimmer has demonstrated mastery in all five core skills, we enter the next phase of their development. This phase focuses on building confidence and consistency, which are just as important as the skills themselves. A confident swimmer is more likely to excel and enjoy their time in the pool, not to mention recall those skills in any emergency situation surrounding water.

We want to keep you informed every step of the way in your child’s swimming journey. Our dedicated deck team closely monitors your swimmer's progress and will notify you when they’re ready to advance to the next level. We maintain detailed notes to ensure all our instructors are aligned and aware of each swimmer’s progress. Not to mention, we will update and notify you each time a skill is met or a new update has been made.
