At British Swim School, the safety and satisfaction of our customers and swimmers have always been our top priorities. We are continuously committed to providing the highest quality swim lessons that ensure the well-being and progress of every individual.
In response to valuable feedback from our community and to follow evolving industry standards, we are implementing some changes to our swim lesson programs. These adjustments are not a reflection of any previous safety concerns; rather, they are proactive measures to align with the latest best practices and to enhance the overall learning experience.
By adopting these new standards, we aim to remain at the forefront of swim instruction, ensuring that we continue to offer the best and safest swim lessons possible. Our dedicated team of instructors is fully trained in these updated methods, and we are confident that these changes will further enrich the positive impact of our programs.
We are excited to introduce PLAY, our commitment to end each lesson full of engagement and focused on what is most needed for each swimmer. This will mean the removal of the swim ring for the last five minutes and the implementation of PLAY:
• Playback: meaning you may be asked to come, see, and hear about your swimmer’s favorite part of the lesson (like a show and tell).
• Learn: which will allow the instructor to introduce related skills that the swimmer needs additional work on to achieve a goal.
• Activity: which may bring in a piece of equipment to increase engagement and practice a skill in a different way.
• Why: This is a chance to explain safety reminders, why we do different skills, or why homework might be needed to assist in progression.
