At British Swim School, our mission is to ensure that every person regardless of age or ability has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. That’s why we offer a special abilities aquatics program that takes our traditional methods and places them into a specially designed program to work with swimmers of any ability, making them feel comfortable and safer in the water.

Who teaches the Dolphin classes?
Our Special Abilities classes at British Swim School are taught by our highly-trained and certified instructors.

What is the difference between Dolphin 1 and Dolphin 2?
In Dolphin 1 classes (1:1 Instructor/student ratio), the swim instructor will work one-on-one with each student to acclimate the student to the water with sensory play activities while working on an introduction to skills that will be used in the next level(s).

In Dolphin 2 classes (1:1 or 2:1 Instructor/student ratio), the students will receive personalized attention focused on assimilating them into our core curriculum with a focus on survival-based skills; back floating, and safe submersions.

How much do Dolphin classes cost?

Classes meet 1x per week for 30 minutes and cost $500/month.

Where and when are classes held?

Classes meet on Mondays at our Aloft Hotel location in Millbrae.
